LinguFlow
LinguFlow is a conceptual design of a mobile app for learning and improving vocabulary in context, primarily targeting people with a busy schedule.
Background
This is a UX design course project, guided by a tutor & mentor at the CareerFoundry.
The aim of this app is to offer each user purposeful and suitable content within their personal choices and to minimise the time of effort for preparing a learning environment.
Role: UX Researcher & Designer
Timeframe: 1st - 23rd September 2019
Methodologies & Tools
User Research
3 interviews have been conducted with participants who recently or currently learned vocabulary; in person and via video conference. Based on the information collected during these interviews, empathy maps and a protopersona, as well user stories has been created.

- Empathy Maps

- User Stories
Prototyping
Based on the detailed task analysis, mid-fidelity prototypes have been designed: an onboarding process helps the user to prepare a personalised learning environment. An interesting feature of the app is that the user can learn new vocabulary by tapping on a word while reading. Further, the user can save these words into lists and start quizzes with these lists to practice.
Usability Testing
The goal of this study is to observe the interaction of first time users, by measuring the learnability and satisfaction while navigating through given tasks.
- Moderated User Tests
